Attractions Entertainment Cedarville Firemen's Association Pancake BreakfastSaturday, August 30th, 7:00 a.m.���2:00 p.m., and Monday, September 1, 7:00 ��� 11:00 a.m. Come and enjoy the Cedarville Fireman's Association All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast. The menu consists of eggs, sausage, pancakes, home fries, juice, and coffee. Costs for this event: Adults $5.00; Seniors and kids under 12 $3.50; and kids under 5 eat free. Proceeds for this event go towards the purchase of equipment for the Fire Department. 4-Mile Fun RunSaturday, August 30th, 8:00 a.m., at Massie Creek Park (Soccer Fields, Barber Road). Proceeds from the 4-Mile Fun Run will go to support the Cedarville Area Food Pantry and the Cedarfest Fireworks. Community Sidewalk/Garage SaleSaturday, August 30th, 8:00 a.m. We invite the Cedarville Area Community to participate in a Community Sidewalk/Garage Sale on August 30. We also invite the public to come, enjoy the Firemen's Pancake Breakfast, shop at our stores and attend the garage sales, and then come and join us at the Cedarville Community Park for the other Cedarfest activities. Little Miss and Mr. Cedarfest CompetitionSaturday, August 30th, 9:00 ��� 10:00 a.m., at the Cedarville Community Park Shelter House. Participants must be between the ages of 5 and 9, and must reside in the Cedar Cliff School District to participate in this event. If you have any questions, please give them a call at (937) 766-3815. Outdoor ExpoAugust 30, 9:00 a.m. ��� 6:00 p.m., at Massie Creek Park. The outdoor expo will include several demonstrations by Gander Mountain, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the Olde English Gun Shop, and In the Ten Range Gun Shop. A taxidermist will also have 25 displays of various wild life. There will also be an archery range and BB gun shooting range. All children under 18 participating in the shooting or archery ranges may require an adult. In addition, a classic, refurbished tractor show and past/present/future car show are planned. Fishing DerbySaturday, August 30th, 9:00-10:30 for ages 13-16; 10:30-12:00 for ages 10 to 12; and 12:00 ��� 1:00 for ages 5 to 9. This event will take place on both sides of Massie Creek, Cedarville Community Park. Registration is $1.00 and starts at 8:30 a.m., at the Community Park. All participants must provide their own bait, fishing poles, and tackle. A limited supply of cane poles may be available. All participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or an adult. A fishing license is not required during this event. Prizes will be awarded. USSSA Girls Fast Pitch 14U and 16U Softball ShowcaseSaturday, August 30, 9:00 a.m.���6:00 p.m.; Sunday, August 31, 1:00���6:00 p.m. (as needed); and Monday, September 1, 9:00 a.m.���6:00 p.m. (as needed). All games will be held on Diamonds #1 and #2 at the Cedarville Community Park. We will use relaxed rules; there will be no trophies or awards. Please come and play and be part of the Cedarfest entertainment. The cost is $35 per game to cover umpires and softballs. Play Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, or just one day only. Please come and enjoy the life animals! Volley Ball GamesSaturday, August 30th, 10:00 a.m., at the Cedarville Community Park Volley Ball Court. Kids GamesSaturday, August 30th, 1:00-2:00 p.m., in front of the Gazebo at the Cedarville Community Park. Games include water balloon toss, balloon pop, sack race, three-legged race, spoon and egg relay, water relay, and candy scramble, just to name a few. Prizes will be awarded for tallest dog, shortest dog, longest tail, shortest tail, longest ears, shortest ears, obstacle course, best costume, best tricks, owner dog look alike, most mixed mutt, and best of show. All dogs participating in the dog show must be on a leash and in owner's control at all times. The dogs are permitted at the park immediately prior to the event, but must be removed immediately following the event, as zoning only allows service dogs in the park. Disclaimer Cornhole TournamentsSaturday (August 30th), Sunday (August 31th), and Monday, (September 1st), 2:00 p.m., at the Cedarville Community Park Tennis Courts. First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded for each tournament. Entry fee is $5/person, $10/team. There will be separate games for the children and adults, so come and have a great time! August 30th, 7:00 ��� 10:00, Apostolic Church Parking Lot; Disc Jockey is Terry Entler Progressive Euchre TournamentsSaturday (August 30th), Sunday (August 31th), and Monday, (September 1st), at 7:00 p.m., in the Gazebo, Cedarville Community Park. Cards and card tables are provided. Each tournament is limited to 16 people. The entry fee is $5.00 per person. Half of the entry fee will be awarded to one winner each evening; the other half will go towards the tournament expenses. Grand prize is a Texas Holdem kit. Registration includes golf, cart, prizes, and pork chop or chicken dinner. Proceeds from this event will be used to purchase equipment for the Fire Department. The Sweet Adeline's Quartet, "EnJoy" will kickoff the festivities, followed by Cedarville's own Master's Quartet. Also, those of you who enjoyed the Master's Four Quartet last year will be pleased to hear they are returning for our listening pleasure. The members of "EnJoy" are Jan Stevens (lead), Carol Jordan (tenor), Grace White (baritone), and Sandy Johannes (bass). The members of the "Master's Quartet" are Ron Smith (lead), David McFarlane (tenor), Dwayne Frank (baritone), and Roy Carr (bass). The motorcyclist will start at the Cedarville Fire Department's pancake breakfast at 8:30 a.m., register at Massie Creek Park by 9:45 a.m., depart from Massie Creek Park at 10:00 a.m., enjoy a one hour ride, and then proceed to Cedarville University to line-up for the Cedarfest parade, which kicks off at noon. Please come and join the fun as you enjoy the Bike Path. Cedarville enjoys one of the best Labor Day parades in Greene County, so come and enjoy and then come to the Community Park for the rest of the festivities.
